ABOUT THE ROLE

My client has nearly 2 years’ worth of work already secured and they’re looking to keep expanding, growing, and securing work to provide them with a healthy order book for the next 3 years. The scope of work involves technical self-performing concrete and excavations, which could be retaining walls, platform extensions, station renovations, including structural steel repairs and installations of new elevators. Your role will involve managing all the trades on site, scheduling and implementing the work on-site, overseeing the cost of the project, Change Order Management, design management, quality management, and managing/maintaining client relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, including site works.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
  • Ability to mentor, train, and supervise field staff.
