ABOUT THE ROLE

My client is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Charleston managing several ground-up construction projects.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all necessary resources throughout the entire project, from start-up through closeout. The SPM shall ensure that the Owner’s/ FLB’s expectations and budgetary guidelines are met or exceeded. The PM manages the project from beginning (including pre-con when required) to end including budget, costs, schedule, risk management, insurance, general work performance and quality, and overall progress against the plan.

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects of project execution, including procurement, construction activities, subcontractor management, and project documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for a leadership position in construction management or engineering fields, a candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field. You will also have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working as a project manager working for a commercial general contractor.
