Our client is a leading heavy civil contractor with a huge, secured pipeline of infrastructure work across the Northeast, delivering complex interstate and transportation projects through long-term public agency partnerships. They self-perform a large portion of their work and offer clear progression routes into Project Management for engineers looking to step up.
They are currently delivering a $500M+ multi-phase interstate interchange improvement program, focused on improving one of Connecticut’s busiest highway corridors through major bridge replacements, drainage upgrades, retaining walls, roadway reconstruction, and large-scale earthwork packages. The program runs through 2030, offering long-term stability and career growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Senior Project Engineer position working on technically challenging heavy civil scopes including drainage, precast retaining systems, sound walls, bridges, and support-of-excavation works.
You’ll be working alongside strong field and design teams but trusted to operate independently at a senior engineering level — ideal for someone with 10–15 years of experience who wants a clear path into Project Management while staying hands-on with complex infrastructure work.
