My client is a leading construction and HVAC & plumbing sub-contractor based in New York. With a rich history of experience and expertise in the industry, they have earned a solid reputation for delivering high-quality projects and exceptional customer service.

I am looking for a detail-oriented and experienced HVAC Estimator to join our client based in New York. The HVAC Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of HVAC projects, preparing bids, and providing technical expertise to support the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, be knowledgeable about local building codes and regulations, and possess excellent communication skills to work with clients, vendors, and team members.


· Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to accurately estimate the cost of HVAC projects, including equipment, labor, materials, permits, and other expenses.

· Collaborate with the sales team to prepare competitive bids and proposals for clients, ensuring that all estimates are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.

· Conduct on-site inspections to assess project requirements, identify potential issues, and gather relevant information for estimating purposes.

· Obtain and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors, negotiate pricing, and select the most cost-effective and reliable options.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Estimator in the HVAC industry, preferably in New York or a similar market.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, materials, and installation techniques, including but not limited to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and controls.
  • Solid knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC systems in New York.
  • Proven track record of accurately estimating HVAC projects of varying size and complexity, and preparing competitive bids and proposals.


This is an opportunity to work for one of the best HVAC & Plumbing Contractors in New York City, a contractor well known for its brilliant standard of work and repeat clients. You will be rewarded with a salary ranging between $125,000 – $160,000 + a full benefits package.
